FASTeTEN to be presented at GOV IT 2008 Summit
e-Forum chief executive Baudouin de Sonis will present the FASTeTEN secure infrastructure project at the GOV IT 2008 Summit, which takes place in Brussels, Belgium, on 9-10 June 2008.
The event plans to address the transformation of government services through comprehensive and effective methods of relaying information and providing services. FASTeTEN, in which e-Forum is a communication partner, provides administrations with a bundle of services for secure, traceable electronic document exchange.
The bundle of services, FAST - Fournisseur d’Accès Sécurisés Transactionnels (Secure Access Gateway) - has been successfully developed and piloted in France. The aim of FASTeTEN is it demonstrate FAST in different eGovernment contexts in Spain and the United Kingdom. A group of potential future deployers will monitor the demonstration deployments with a view to further implementations of FAST across Europe.
Baudouin de Sonis will detail the progress of the project at the GOV IT 2008 Summit. e-Forum members who are public sector officials involved in eGovernment, eProcurement and government IT, can furthermore benefit from one of 20 free passes giving entry to the Summit.
