Definition of the business rules, data formats, alert procedures in the environment of the Department of Education in UK.

FASTeTEN will carry out a pilot deployment of FAST in Sheffield, UK. The pilot deployment will be an electronic school enrolment scheme. This workpackage, led by Sheffield City Council, will define the electronic workflow behind this deployment. This will include defining the business rules, data formats, alert procedures, and electronic lifecycle management procedures. Sheffield City Council will also establish user groups of schools and parents to test the procedures and to critically evaluate the user interface.

In doing so, the workpackage will define the framework for application of FAST in the education sector, and in other sectors.
