Issues addressed

The main objectives of the FAST project are the following:

• Dramatically decrease the cost of administrative processes (cost of paper and stamping in French administration is n°2 in volume just after salaries)
• Contribute to compensate the massive retirement wave expected for 2008 to 2010
• Improve the quality of service for the citizen

Goals of the project

To reach these objectives, a technical platform (FAST) will become the unique technical interlocutor of every “decentralized administrations” (cities, social offices, etc.), and to allow them to communicate with all their interlocutors (central administrations, other decentralized administration), whatever the subject would be. FAST should therefore become a concentrating platform for e-administration.
