The FASTeTEN consortium (composed of six principal members) proposes an initial deployment of a trusted and secure European platform for data exchange between all levels of administration (European, central, regional and local).

Using currently existing tools (portals, software, standards) and internal processes, the FASTeTEN consortium will develop projects for the public sector that give a platform for building, deploying and testing robust, flexible, trusted and secure infrastructure solutions.

The work to be achieved is about the usage of an interoperable, trusted infrastructure (platforms, standards) in the specific field of eGovernment. Each partner of the FASTeTEN consortium is currently developing local/regional/central projects in the areas of trust and security.
